Before University Dr. Lianna Bahry occupied the majority of her time
on the rink as a National Junior Competitive Figure Skater. It was
through her figure skating that she became fascinated with movement
and body mechanics. After sustaining a complete rupture of her ACL
ligament she began to coach intermediate level figure skaters and
found her passion for working with people to optimize their potentials.
Throughout university and while obtaining her doctorate in chiropractic,
Dr. Bahry dedicated her time to becoming physically fit through a
combination of Yoga, Contemporary Dance and Functional Strength-Training.
By doing so she created mind-body awareness and by maintaining this
belief her focus of treatment is on the restoration of the entire
body’s physical function.
Dr. Bahry’s expertise in biomechanics and the neuro-musculoskeletal
system has allowed her to successfully care for patients with a wide
variety of conditions. She utilizes a holistic approach where the
entire body is treated and not just the symptoms. Dr. Bahry will
evaluate the entire body’s physical function through a comprehensive
and structured approach.
By combining the hands-on-techniques of Chiropractic Adjustments &
Mobilizations, Active Release Techniques, and Functional Stretching
& Strengthening Exercises Dr. Bahry implements individualized patient
centered care in order to provide the patient with the ability to achieve
optimal levels of health and wellness. In keeping with her holistic
approach to health, Dr. Bahry works in collaboration with other health
care professionals to ensure that her patients receive the best
multi-disciplinary care possible.
